Yes, I can see terror in your face –
What do you expect me to say?
A light decision is not one I would make
And I feel insulted by your lack of faith

Yes, we could forget this and turn the page –
Just like we did every time for an age
But I've always returned to pain
And I never want to go back there again

Yes, we've made a great many mistakes –
Let's not make any more, eh?
