On every corner you turn
Another state-sponsored
Corporate goblin gurns
Thrusting a wide open purse
For all you've got

It's a social destruction test –
A Thatcherite revival dressed
As egalitarian mess;
Bumbling ineffectiveness
That you think is soft!

They'll only be fulfilled
Once they've relentlessly billed
Until they've ruthlessly killed
The self respect and the will
Of sixty million

Well, I can't get what I need
Without betraying all my beliefs
And embracing insidious greed
So I will lie here and bleed
Until I'm gone

The National Health Service:
So good that you paid for it twice!
