Welcome to the official website of Marketa Alexandra Tovey, songwriter, vocalist, multi-instrumentalist and producer. Alexandra (her given name) releases physical product on her own imprint, NO, which consists of two operations: NO Record Label, which handles all physical product, and NO Music Publishing, which owns the publishing rights to all written and recorded material.

Alexandra has recorded 38 studio albums, from 'Floor Sessions' in 1992 to the most recent set, October 2011's 'Smudges And Smears'. Many consider this a staggeringly prolific record, but 18 years with a lot of time on one's hands can be put to positive use when the devil's work hovers in the equation! In addition there have been 93 singles and EPs, from the debut 'I Am The Police' EP in June 1992 to the current 'Mirror Girl' EP and 'Fingerprints' single, released in August and September 2011 respectively.

The back catalogue has been going through the slow process of being fully digitally remastered for some years now - in fact, it's taken far longer than originally anticipated - but is finally close to being complete. When it is, each previous album will become available for download for a limited time, accompanied by attendant lyrics and artwork.
